| 1 tablespoon | Lemon pepper seasoning |
| 1/2 teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Salt |

Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. This is crucial for achieving a crispy crust. If using skin-on salmon, you can score the skin lightly with a sharp knife.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. This creates your flavorful crust mixture.
Brush or rub the lemon pepper mixture evenly over the top (flesh side) of each salmon fillet. Ensure the entire surface is coated for maximum flavor.
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes. Preheating ensures the salmon cooks evenly and the crust crisps up nicely from the start.
Ensure the air fryer basket is clean before use.
Carefully place the salmon fillets in the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single layer and not overlapping, to allow for proper air circulation.
Air fry for 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon and your desired level of doneness. The salmon is cooked when it flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
For thicker fillets, you might need to add a few extra minutes. For thinner fillets, check for doneness around the 8-minute mark to prevent overcooking.
Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
