| 1 (300g / 10.5 oz) | Pizza dough |
| 240ml (1 cup) | Alfredo sauce |
| 150g (5.3 oz) | Fresh spinach |
| 200g (7 oz) | Shredded mozzarella cheese |
| 50g (1.75 oz) | Grated Parmesan cheese |
| 1 clove | Garlic |
| 1 tbsp (15ml) | Olive oil |
| 1/4 tsp (1.25g) | Salt |
| 1/4 tsp (0.5g) | Black pepper |
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out your pizza dough into your desired shape, typically a 12-inch (30cm) circle.
Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or parchment paper. If not using a pizza stone, you can place the dough directly onto a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the Alfredo sauce with the minced garlic, 1 tablespoon (15ml) of olive oil, salt, and black pepper. This helps infuse the sauce with garlic flavor.
Spread the seasoned Alfredo sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Make sure to cover the base well for a creamy texture throughout.
Evenly distribute the fresh spinach over the Alfredo sauce. Don't worry if it looks like a lot; it will wilt down significantly during baking.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the spinach. Follow with an even layer of grated Parmesan cheese.
Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Keep an eye on the pizza during the last few minutes of baking to prevent the crust from burning.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. This allows the cheese to set and makes it easier to cut.
Slice the pizza into wedges and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious homemade Spinach Alfredo Pizza!
