*Nutrition per serving
| 500g (1.1 lb) | Pizza dough |
| 250ml (1 cup) | Pizza sauce |
| 300g (10.5 oz) | Shredded mozzarella cheese |
| 150g (5.3 oz) | Sliced pepperoni |
| 1 tbsp (15ml) | Olive oil |
| 1 tsp | Dried oregano |
| 0.5 tsp | Red pepper flakes |
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape, typically a circle about 30-35cm (12-14 inches) in diameter. If you don't have a pizza stone, you can use a baking sheet.
Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper or a lightly floured pizza peel. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil (1 tbsp / 15ml) to help them crisp up. This also prevents the crust from drying out too much.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Make sure to get a good, even layer of sauce for maximum flavor.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the pizza sauce. Ensure an even coating so every bite is cheesy and delicious.
Arrange the sliced pepperoni evenly over the cheese. For an extra kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes (0.5 tsp, optional) and dried oregano (1 tsp) over the pepperoni.
Carefully slide the pizza (on the parchment paper if using) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Baking time can vary depending on your oven and the thickness of your crust. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Once baked to perfection, carefully remove the pizza from the oven. Let it rest for a minute or two before slicing and serving hot. Enjoy your delicious Pepperoni Supreme Pizza!
